关于癌症医典

     1977年，美国国家癌症研究所（National Cancer Institute, NCI）创建了PDQ癌症综合信息库，内容涵盖成人与儿童的癌症治疗、支持与姑息治疗、筛查、预防、遗传学，以及综合、替代与辅助疗法。绝大部分内容都以专业版和公众版两种方式进行展示。该信息库定期对全世界癌症研究的最新结果进行总结，及时更新相关内容，为癌症相关知识提供最新参考。

    为了给我国医疗卫生工作者及广大公众及癌症患者提供最新、权威的癌症防治信息，中国国家癌症中心与北京泛生子基因科技有限公司在PDQ癌症综合信息库的基础上合作开发《癌症医典》，以网页的形式免费向公众发布。《癌症医典》的发布将推动全球权威癌症防治信息在中国的传播，为中国癌症防治工作提供科学的证据支持，为广大公众提供权威、及时、便利的癌症防治知识。

About Cancer Medpedia

    In 1977, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) established the Physician Data Query (PDQ). The PDQ cancer information summaries are comprehensive, evidence-based summaries on topics that cover adult and pediatric cancer treatment, supportive and palliative care, screening, prevention, genetics, and integrative, alternative, and complementary therapies. Most of the summaries are available in the formats of health professional versions and patient versions. These information summaries summarize the latest cancer research around the world on a regular basis, update relevant information in time, and provide the latest reference for cancer information.

    In order to provide the latest and authoritative information about cancer prevention and control to Chinese health workers, as well as the cancer patients and to the public, the National Cancer Center of China and Beijing Genetron Health Genetic Technology Co. Ltd. jointly developed the "Cancer Medpedia" based on the PDQ comprehensive cancer information summaries. It will be released to the public for free in the format of web pages. Its publication will not only promote the dissemination of the global authoritative cancer prevention and control information in China, but also provide scientific evidence to the decision makers and authoritative and timely cancer knowledge to the public.
